Christmas Time
I love Christmas time. This year is difficult because Paul's younger brother passed away this year. Paul has been stronge and has not mentioned a lot about it. I know that he thinks of his brother everyday. Being able to go to Fiesta Texas every weekend has helped him, not forget him, but helped him stay happy. He remembers happy times. He has enjoyed all the shows and some rides. I am not a ride person so I don't really get on the rides. I enjoy the shows. This year they where great. The Christmas shows have been the best. I guess because holidays are always the worst when you loss a love one. Paul met one of his favorite actors that was in one of the high school shows. She is in one of the Christmas shows now. We went every weekend this year.
It has been great to be able to spend time with family too. My family has been great. We enjoyed Christmas yesterday because Rudy, Julie and Paul won't be able to be there on the 25th. We had a great time.
Merry Christmas..To all.

weather
My lights are out. I woke up in the dark thinking that I had forgot to pay my CPS Energy bill but it was the weather. I heard the rain after a while. I hope that I never really forgot to pay my bill. I hope that it is not like this on Friday. On Friday is our field trip to the Zoo. The kids and I are excited. Parents are excited too because they are getting the day off to go. Well I am only taking four of them. The 3rd grade class is attending the field trip too. The teacher for that class asked every parent to attend.

Earth Day April 22
There are many things that we can be doing to save the earth. Different stores around town have been helping by making cheap reusabe bags that we can buy to reuse. We don't have to use the plastic bags from the stores anymore. When the bags first came out they were almost priced at 4.00 dollars. Now they have gone down to about a 1.00 dollar. I think that is great because now I have no excuse not to buy them.

Time for Life
In life there are many things that we do for ourselves. How much do we really need? There are always new items coming out that we want but don't need. When do we say enough is enough. I have been watching the Big Give on Sundays. There have been some great shows about people given. People are being inspired by this new show. What would you do if you were given the opportunity to give big? Who would you help? How would you help?

We are getting close
Eletion is close. The last time I checked Hillary was at 1,269 and Obama was at 1,367 in the polls. I can't believe how close it is.
I am excited and scared. There are to many things to think about in this election. Happy Election Day.
Don't Forget to go vote if you haven't done it.

Election Day
March 4th is next week if you have forgot. Don't forget to go vote. I don't care who you vote for as long as you go vote. I have already made my vote. I went on Saturday and it felt great. Make the early voting which last until the 29th of Feb. You don't want to be in line on March 4th, but if that is the only day it can be done than so be it. Happy Voting Day...

United States
It is great to be in this country. MTV aired a TRUELIFE on young people moving to the United States. These young people were happy to be in the United States. Their first goal was to attend school. I think that anyone in this country is lucky to be here. I was glad that I was able to watch this special. It is great to know that there are still people interested in this great country.

This is from Light Before Day by Christopher Rice. Rice is the son of the famous author Anne Rice. His new book comes out in March.
He sipped from his scotch. "I never went back to New York." His eyes betrayed a pain that seemed unrehearsed, a recollection of how it felt to be traded from one businessman to another like a wholly owned subsidiary.
"Did you love him?"
I can't wait for the new book to come out.

Memories
I was driving home today and this song came on. I can't believe how much a song can affect a person. It took me back to freshmen year of college. I was very lonely those years. First time ever leaving home and living alone was hell. At the time my biggest fear was being alone. And there it was. Right in front of me. Alone, I was. I have gotten use to living alone but soon I might be living with my love. That is going to be something great.

Flat Tire
I had a flat tire today at 6:10 am. I was taking my love to the bus station when we heard it. The roar of the tire wanting to stop the car. Telling me that it was in pain. I'm glad that we didn't get hurt. I am also glad that my love knew how change the tire. It didn't help that the extra tire I had was flat too. Don't laugh. :-) After finding out that my extra tire was flat I called my brother for help. My first question after stopping was, " should I call my dad." My love said, "we don't have to worry if we have a spare tire. You worry when you don't have a spare tire." I worried after the car wouldn't move and the spare was on. Now you can laugh.

A Visit
My niece was in town yesterday. My brother came in with my family. I met them at Chucky Ch. on military. We had a BLAST. It was fun and exciting being able to hang out with my niece. I miss her today. Now that Monika is part of our life I want to move back home. I know that I can't move to Pearsall because there is no life for me there. It would be nice to see Monika everyday. I know that I have to enjoy my time with her and I will. The picture is of my mother and Monika enjoy a playful time. Thank You God for the gift you have given us.

My favorite video and had to have on here
Just had to add this on here. I remember watching it on TV. Don't say anything about my age. This has been my favorite video of all times. I have always wanted to see again and buy it somewhere. I can't believe that I get to have on here. Hope that you enjoy it too.
Things that make you go hmmmm
There is a teacher that I know that has a boy student in the class who enjoys wearing jewelry and carrying a purse. He tells her that he likes boys. The parents know what he does. The mom knows where to look for all her messing jewelry. She lets him be who he is. The dad doesn't agree with it but he goes with it because he has trust in the mom. I just wanted to mention this because of the video I found. Maybe someone can comment.

Catholic School Week
Monday
We kicked it off yesterday with mass. It was a beautiful mass. The fourth grade class preformed a small poem. On Saturday 7th and 8th grader were started putting up their poster on their door. I thought their should have been a cut off time for posters. Than my class would have won the spirit stick again. My class did a great job last year and this year two. They door looks great but the other doors look great too. I wonder who is going to get the spirit stick.
At 2:30 we had a pep rally and of course my class was the only one that was ready for it. We took the spirit stick again. Fifth Grade Rules..I am so proud of my kids. They did a great job.

Exciting Day Today
Today my school had a visitor, an actor, from a show playing at the majestic. My kids had an experience. He came in yesterday to look at the school because he use to be a student at St. Cecilia. I thought it was so cool to have him come back to visit and spend the morning with us. He is musical actor. He perfromed a song for us that was cool. My students were so excited to have a real actor come and visit the school they wanted to sing for him. They had the chance to perform in front of a real actor. The song they performed was the last song form Into the Woods, Jr., a play they performed in November. They also performed the fan dance which is being prepare for catholic school week (Jan. 27-Feb. 3). I will put a picture on later of the students and the actor. I forgot his name so don't ask me. The morning was great. Thank you God for the gift today.

In June of 2007 my family and I found out about Monika. Monika was a surprise but a great one. It has given life to all of us. My mother and father are having a great time with Monika. Joy
I love that I can talk to my mother today. I never would have thought that I was going to be able to keep the relationship with my mother. If you would have told me five years ago that I was going to able to talk to my mother and share my life with her I would have never believed you. My mother is in my everyday life. I would not be able to live one day without her. I thank God for what he has given me. Several years ago I started praying that I my mother would be able to accept me for who I am. I had the help of an angel on my side. My sister Ruby has helped my mother see that I am still her son no matter how I live my life. I am happy with whom I have become and I would not change it for anyone. I will be the writer, reader, lover, brother, and son.

Lights in the Sky
I enjoy walking my dog. It gives me time to reflect on my life. When I am not reflecting I enjoy looking at the stars. The stars remind me of my youth when I use to go outside in my counrty town and stare at the stars.
